We went on a hike last week: Battle Creek Falls in Pleasant Grove. I really want to get out and about this summer, especially since I work from home all day. By the time 3:30 rolls around, I'm anxious to go outside, use my legs, and be in the sunshine.
It was a perfect hike for amateurs carrying a baby walking a dog. It was all uphill on the way there, and shaded by huge trees making it a great evening temperature. The trail leads to this lovely little waterfall in an alcove. We stood by it and felt the water spray and felt super refreshed. Jack couldn't take his eyes off the natural wonder. I really forget how new to the world he is. He was great the entire time, strapped onto his dad's back in the carrier looking all around. We made friends with a couple on our walk back who also had a little boy.
We had such a great time that we've declared Tuesdays to be hike days. Any recommendations?
I LOVE Battle Creek Falls. It's one of my favorite hikes in Utah. It's a little ways away from you, but Rock Canyon is really gorgeous right now. I hiked it last week. I also love this little hike called Grotto Falls, but that is down in Payson. There are so many gorgeous hikes I've been on or heard of. Let me know which hikes you do because I am always wanting to learn of new hikes!

Thanks for the recommendation! We went to Rocky Mouth Falls in Sandy last week, which was super great. I just looked up Grotto Falls and it sounds perfect for us. We'll have to do it. Thanks!
